About Me

I qualified as a midwife in 2015 and have supported many women through their pregnancies, births and postnatal period. Although I love seeing new life coming into the world my true passion lies in parent educating and empowering women and their families so they can have a positive birth experience.

I am currently studying towards an Antenatal Education Diploma with Ability Within to consolidate my learning in this area. I am a registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, a member of the Royal College of Midwives and a supporter of the Positive Birth Movement. I am continually attending training sessions to improve my knowledge and keep up to date with new research. I am trained in Infant Massage through the International Association of Infant Massage – a highly respected organisation who are pioneering research and development in the newborn period.

I have seen many women who are scared of labour due to not knowing the processes involved and consequently have seen their birth as traumatic. My wish is to support women and their partners and teach valuable tools and techniques to help cope with labour and to give them confidence as parents.
